There has been very little research into maca as a medicinal ingredient, but the evidence that does exist suggests maca helps to balance hormones, helping with libido, mood stability and menopause symptoms.
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1tsp Macca powder
1tsp peanut butter (powdered pb for lower fat)
1/4 cup Almond milk
1tbsp maple syrup or agave syrup
In a small saucepan whisk all the ingredients together over a low heat.
Continually whisking slowly heat up the drink until it’s your perfect temperature (don’t let it come to the boil, this can make it bitter)
