Acai smoothie bowl – vegan wholefoods recipe

Açaí, pronounced ah-sigh-EE, comes from the acai berry grown on the acai palm tree in South Amerian rainforests. Acai berries are renowned for their high antioxidant levels and have been said to be the secret to beautiful skin. Although they are still yet to be proven to have any added benefits over other berries, I am always a big advocate for having a diet of variety, so I love to include this little super food in my diet.
