Skin Food Smoothie

A deliciously thick and creamy green smoothie filled with lots of skin loving fruits and healthy fats. Giving you a great balance of fibre, fats, protein and energising carbs, it make a great breakfast or and mid-day lunch time boost.

In the early days of changing my diet, I didn’t feel very adventurous with smoothies. Although smoothies were a staple from the beginning, they were very much fruit based and very sweet. Smoothies with avocado and veggies took me a while to get used to. Experimenting with smoothies while out really helped me open my world to different flavours. This is inspired by a smoothie I picked up in Bristol a few year ago.

Trying smoothies, in smoothie and juice bars or using recipes like this is a great way to experiment with flavours until you are confident enough to make your own combinations.
